Bryant falls to BU, 6-1
MEN'S TENNIS DROPS TOUGH-ONE AT BU, 6-1, ON SUNDAY
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team fell to Boston University, 6-1, Sunday afternoon at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
Junior Dana Parziale (Pinehurst, N.C.) was the lone singles winner for the Bulldogs in the second position, topping Chanon Varapongsittikul, 6-4, 6-3.
The duo of Zachary Morris (Garden City, N.Y.) and Parziale defeated Josh Friedman and Marcus VanBerkel, 8-5, in doubles action as well.
On the weekend, Parziale went 4-0, winning both his singles and doubles matches on Friday against Fairleigh Dickinson, in addition to his 2-0 showing on Sunday.
The Bulldogs will have a couple of weeks before returning to the court on Saturday, Mar. 9 against Stony Brook.
