Parziale earns Bryant's first-ever regional ranking

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Continuing an already historic season on the court, senior captain Dana Parziale (Pinehurst, N.C.) of the Bryant University men's tennis team became the first-ever Bulldog to become regionally ranked in Division I program history.

Announced by the ITA Thursday night, Parziale earned the 20th overall ranking in the Northeast Region after arguably one of the best fall performances of his career. The senior finished 12-4 overall in singles play and a remarkable 9-2 in doubles action, including a monumental victory in the no. one doubles draw at the USTA Invitational in September with partner Ernesto Arguello (Managua, Nicaragua).

Parziale also picked up back-to-back Northeast Conference Player of the Month honors as he led the Black and Gold to a perfect 4-0 start.

Bryant returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 18 for a doubleheader in Hanover, N.H., vs. Dartmouth and Villanova.
