SMITHFIELD, R.I. – For the second-straight summer, the Bryant University men's tennis team has been recognized as one of the Top Mid-Major Recruiting Classes, announced TennisRecruiting.net on Monday.

The Bulldogs earned their second-consecutive Northeast Conference Championship in 2014-15 and there seems to be no letting up in the future as Bryant's Class of 2019 earned an Honorable Mention nod by TennisRecruiting.net and Solfire.

"We are very pleased with the incoming freshman class and honored to be recognized on a national level," said three-time NEC Coach of the Year Ron Gendron. "These four young men truly embody the type of student-athlete we are looking to bring to Bryant University on an annual basis."

The incoming class, comprised of Michael and Scott Plutt, Artur Jakubowski, and Devon Chofay, is arguably the Bulldogs' most talented to date as they look to fill some big holes vacated by graduating seniors.

"We are losing a lot with the departures of seniors Zachary Morris, Ernesto Arguello and Joshua Rubinstein," noted Gendron. "That being said, if the young men who make up this freshman class live up to their potential, we will have the ability to continue to set the standard in the Northeast Conference for years to come."
