Kuhar advances to third round of ITAs

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's tennis redshirt junior Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) became just the second player in Division I program history to advance to the third round of the ITA Northeast Regionals with his victory on Friday afternoon.

COACH GENDRON'S COMMENTS

"Matt played well today, beating a good player, 6-3, 6-2, from a solid program at Monmouth. Tomorrow's opponent we know well. A great player from Columbia [William Matheson] who took out Luke [Lorenz] in three sets last year at the ITAs. Tomorrow is a big day for our program and we are excited about the opportunity."
