Bryant grabs big win over Quinnipiac, 5-2
CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's tennis earned a hard-fought 5-2 victory over Quinnipiac on Saturday afternoon at Fore Court.
Bryant has now won four-straight matches and is 5-2 this semester.
How it Happened
- Bryant opened the day with a clean sweep of doubles action. Jose Davila and Agustin Suarez won at No. 1, while Marcus Macaulay and Diego Serra Sparrow won at No. 2.
- Jean-Christophe Baril and Daniel Baquero closed out the sweep at No. 3.
- In singles, the Bobcats picked up victories at No. 1 and No. 6.
- The Black and Gold, however, claimed victories at 2, 3, 4 and 5.
- Suarez won in three sets at No. 2, while Davila, Serra Sparrow and Myles Peterson all won in straight sets.
