Bryant completes perfect weekend with win over Hofstra
CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's tennis earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Hofstra on Sunday afternoon at Fore Court.
Bryant has now won five straight matches and is 6-2 this semester.
How it Happened
- Bryant opened the day with a clean sweep of doubles action. Jose Davila and Agustin Suarez won at No. 1, while Marcus Macaulay and Diego Serra Sparrow won at No. 2.
- Diego Trejo and Daniel Baquero closed out the sweep at No. 3.
- In singles, the Pride picked up wins at 1, 3 and 6.
- The Black and Gold, however, claimed victories at 2, 4 and 5.
- Suarez won in three sets at No. 2, while Serra Sparrow and Myles Peterson won in straight sets.
