Bryant downs BU on Friday for sixth-straight win

CUMBERLAND, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team ran its winning streak to six with a 5-2 victory over Boston U on Friday at Fore Court.

Bryant has now won six straight matches and is 7-2 this semester.

How it Happened

  • Bryant claimed the doubles point with victories at 1 and 2. Agustin Suarez and Jose Davila continued their torrid stretch with a 6-2 win, while Marcus Macaulay and Diego Serra Sparrow won 6-4 at No. 2.
  • In singles, BU claimed victories at 1 and 2 but the Bulldogs closed out the match with wins at 3, 4, 5 and 6.
  • Davila won in three sets at 3, while Daniel Baquero earned a three-set win at 6.
  • Serra Sparrow and Myles Peterson picked up the other Bryant singles victories.
