Serra Sparrow named to Southland Second Team

FRISCO, Texas - Bryant men's tennis senior Diego Serra Sparrow was named Second Team All-Southland Conference on Thursday morning. 

Serra Sparrow becomes the first Bulldog tennis player to earn all-conference honors from the Southland. It marks the second all-conference honor of Serra Sparrow's career as he earned first team honors in singles and doubles in the NEC in 2022.

Serra Sparrow earns the honor at No. 4 singles. He went 14-1 in dual matches this season, including a perfect 8-0 at No. 4. Serra Sparrow enters the Southland Championships having won 13-straight matches. 

Bryant, the No. 3 seed, will face No. 6 seed New Orleans on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. EST.
