SUNDAY’S SOFTBALL DOUBLEHEADER POSTPONED TO MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Due to inclement weather in the Smithfield area, Sunday’s Northeast Conference doubleheader between Bryant University and Monmouth has been postponed until Mother’s Day weekend. An exact time and date has not yet been scheduled. The Bulldogs’ Senior Day festivities will still take place in South Dining Hall in the Bryant Center at 1 p.m.

Bryant will be honoring seniors Ali Chouinard (Swansea, Mass.), Ashley Coon (Levittown, Pa.) and Kim Leonard (Milford, Mass.).

The Bulldogs (7-32, 4-12 NEC) will make the short trip to Providence on Tuesday to make-up a rain-postponed game with Brown University at 4 p.m. The Black and Gold will also be traveling to Holy Cross on Wednesday at 4 p.m. as well.
