Bio
As a Freshman: In just her freshman season, Martin worked herself into the role of starting left fielder early in the year, starting 34 games while appearing in 38 for the Bulldogs in 2009. Martin made her mark both at the plate and in the field, finishing second on the team with a .250 batting average and a .303 on-base percentage. She did not commit en error in the field, recording 21 putouts and three assists. Martin tied for third on the team in doubles with five, while knocking home eight runs and putting together six multi-hit games. The left fielder helped the team to a win against Quinnipiac on April 5, going two-for-three with four RBI, including hitting her first career home run.
Before Bryant: Lindsay is a 2008 graduate of
Central Catholic High School where she was a four year member of
the varsity softball team. During her
career Lindsay was named Boston Herald All-Scholastic in
2008. Lindsay participated in the 2007 and 2008 MVC All Star Games
and was named team MVP her senior season. Lindsay was an honor roll
student
