SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University softball team will be holding a Scout Day clinic on the Bryant University campus August 5 or August 19.  The clinic is open for players in grades 9-12.

FACILITIES
The Bryant Softball Camp is held on the Bryant campus, using both the Intramural Field as well as Bryant Softball Complex, home of the Bryant Bulldog Softball team.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THE SCOUT DAY? 
This clinic will bring you through a typical Bryant University Softball Practice.  You will perform all skills and drills that are required from our athletes on an everyday basis.  First ½ hour is a Dynamic Warm-up, second hour will be a batting practice third hour will be a defensive practice and you will end with base running.  During Defensive practice pitchers and catcher will go through bullpen session with our current Bryant Softball Pitchers.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Softball glove, bat, hat, uniform and helmet, if you have one. Catchers are recommended to bring catchers gear, if you have it.  Please label as much of your personal items as possible. Many ball gloves and bats look alike.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ATTEND BRYANT'S SCOUT DAY?
Grades 9th thru 12th.  Check back on our website for our 12th Annual Snowball Clinic held in February.

NOTE: The University may postpone or cancel this event due to circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts or war, acts of God, or public health emergencies. Neither party shall be liable for damages for delay or default if such delay or default is caused by circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, or health emergencies. The Parties will consult with other to determine if the event can be rescheduled.

It is not permissible for boosters to provide expenses for individuals to attend any of the Bryant Sports Camps. Expenses include but are not limited to, lodging meals, transportation, and/or camp tuition.

All of Bryant Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants.
