Bio

As a senior: Enjoyed her best season as a Bulldog during her senior season, finishing the 2012 season with a .291 average at the plate with 32 hits while smashing nine doubles, a triple and four homers ... Found her way into the Bulldog record book in several categories, ranking 11th in games played (169) and at-bats (432) in a career while finishing seventh all-time in home runs (7) ... Drove in 14 runs while totaling 55 bases and 15 walks ... Went 7-for-8 on stolen bases ... Recorded just two errors in center field, totaling 64 putouts and four outfield assists ... Notched her fourth career triple against Sacred Heart on April 28 ... Drove in a career-high three runs in a win over Yale on March 24 ... Matched that feat against Fairleigh Dickinson on May 5 ... Enjoyed a team-high eight-game hitting streak from April 17 to April 28.

As a junior: A staple in the Bulldogs' lineup, appearing in all 44 of the team's games in 2011 ... Finished the season batting .264 with eight doubles and a pair of homers ... Drove in 24 runs, ranking third on the team in RBI ... Totaled 42 put outs and one assist in the outfield, committing just one error on the season.

As a sophomore: Appeared in 41 games, starting 40 for the Bulldogs in center fielder in her sophomore season ... Finished the season with a .153 batting average, picking up 15 hits, including three doubles and one triple ... Added seven RBIs, 10 walks, seven sacrifices and one stolen base ... Posted the second highest fielding percentage on the team of 97.4 percent, committing just five errors and making 42 putouts ... Recorded three multi-hit games including 2-3 with two runs scored, one RBI and one double in a win over Robert Morris.  

As a freshman: In just her first season on campus, Martin worked herself into the role of starting left fielder early in the year, starting 34 games while appearing in 38 for the Bulldogs in 2009 ... Finished second on the team with a .250 batting average and a .303 on-base percentag ... Did not commit a single error in the field, recording 21 putouts and three assists ... Tied for third on the team in doubles with five, while knocking home eight runs and putting together six multi-hit games ... Helped the team to a win against Quinnipiac on April 5, going two-for-three with four RBIs, including her first career home run.

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Central Catholic High School where she was a four year member of the varsity softball team ... Named Boston Herald All-Scholastic in 2008 ... Participated in the 2007 and 2008 MVC All Star Games and was named team MVP her senior season ... Honor roll student.
