Softball DH at Albany canceled due to rain

Softball doubleheader at Albany canceled

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Due to rain in the forecast for Thursday afternoon, the Bryant University softball team's scheduled doubleheader at the University at Albany has been canceled and will not be made up, the team announced today.

The originally planned date of Tuesday, April 10, was postponed due to weather two weeks ago, as well.

Bryant will next travel to the Constitution State this weekend for a pair of Northeast Conference doubleheaders. First up, the Bulldogs will face Sacred Heart for a two-game set on Saturday, April 28, before rounding out the weekend against Quinnipiac the following afternoon. Start times for both days are set for 1 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively.
