Bio

As a freshman: Appeared in 24 games, earning 22 starts at second base for the Bulldogs … In her first season in Smithfield, collected five hits, including one homerun, while scoring six runs and driving in three … Collected a career-high two hits in a 5-3 victory over Marist on March 15 … Hit the lone homerun of her collegiate career in an 8-3 win at Albany on April 10.

Before Bryant: A native of South Kingstown, R.I., Anderson enters her senior season at East Greenwich H.S. as one of the key players on a team that won the RIIL Softball Division II state championship during the 2011 season.  The right-handed middle infielder was tabbed a R.I. Softball Coaches' Association All-Division and All-State teams as a junior, and was named to the Providence Journal All-State team, as well.  Anderson also earned varsity letters in cross country and indoor track, and is a member of the Bay State Cardinals Gold travel team.

Personal: Daughter of Peter and Betsey Anderson, Mollie Anderson was born July 11, 1994 ... Has two brothers, Peter and Owen, and one sister, Hannah.
