Bio

As a junior: Appeared in 27 games in 2013, earning 21 starts in the outfield for the Bulldogs … Finished the season batting .245, collecting 12 hits in 49 at bats … Scored 14 runs on the season while driving in a run … Posted a .327 on base percentage, drawing five walks and one hit-by-pitch … Collected a career-high three hits on two different occasions, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the season-opener vs. Tennessee St. (Feb. 15) and 3-for-3 with three runs scored at Yale on April 3.

As a sophomore: Saw time in 13 games, making one start for the Bulldogs in her sophomore season ... Batted .333 on the season, going 2-for-6 from the plate while scoring four runs ... Was a perfect 1-for-1 on the base paths.

As a freshman: A 19-game starter for the Bulldogs, Carter payed in 29 total outings for the Black and Gold ... Finished 2011 with a .250 batting average, inlcuding one double and one triple ... She recorded her best outing in the season-opener against Utah Valley State on February 18 with a 2-for-4 performance at the dish with two runs and 3 RBIs.

Before Bryant: A 2010 graduate of Pope John XXIII Regional High School, Carter was a four year letter winner and senior captain for both soccer and softball ... 2010 selected to the NJAC 1st team All-Conference and All-Academic team for softball … Led her softball team to winning the league championships in 2009 … Two-time All-SCIL League, NJ Herald 1st team and All-State selection for softball … 2009 named to the NJ Star-Ledger top 10 defensive player roster for soccer… 2009 1st team NJAC All-League selection for soccer … Two-time NJ Herald 1st team selection ... Personal: Daughter of John and Debra Carter, Kristen Carter was born March 15, 1992 ...
