Softball faces URI on Thursday afternoon
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University softball team will face in-state rival Rhode Island on Thursday afternoon in Kingston. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

Series History
- URI has won all three meetings between the two schools.

- The Bulldogs have stolen 35 bases on the season, fourth among Northeast Conference teams. Bryant stole 37 bases all of last season.
- Freshman Morgan Powell (Murrieta, Calif.) continues to lead the team with a .347 batting average and a .447 OBP. She has stolen six bases, including three against Robert Morris last weekend.
- Senior Gianna Pizzano (Saugus, Mass.) is 4-for-8 with a home run and three runs scored over her last three games.
