Ceccarelli named Second Team All-NEC

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University softball freshman Gianna Ceccarelli (Claremont, Calif.) was honored for her great freshman season on Wednesday afternoon, being named Second Team All-Conference by the Northeast Conference.

The rookie hit .323 in her opening season as a Bulldog, finishing with three doubles and five RBI. Two of those doubles came in conference play, where she hit .385 in eight appearances this season. She opened her first NEC schedule with a bang, recording hits in five consecutive conference appearances, going 6-for-11 during the stretch.
