BALTIMORE, MD. - Kylie Kenney records her fourth complete game with eight strikeouts in the Bryant University Softball team's 5-1 defeat against Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday.

The Bulldogs fell to Morgan State 5-3 in the day's second game.

How it Happened (GM1)

  • In the top of the first inning, Jenna Gardner and Courtney Paolantonio began the game with a walk and a single and then advanced bases on a fielder's choice. The first run was scored on an FDU throwing error (1-0).
  • The Bulldogs scored their second run on a Knights error, and then Aleix Hudson knocked an RBI single during the top of the fifth (3-0). Megan Marcel tallied the fourth Bulldog run on a single to left field (4-0).
  • Courtney Paolantoio recorded the fifth run of the contest on an RBI single down the left field line (5-0) in the top of the sixth inning.
  • FDU scored their only run on a single during the bottom of the sixth (5-1).

  • The Bears tallied the game's first two runs on a single and triple in the bottom of the second (2-0).
  • Smith knocked a one-out single and then advanced to second on a fielders choice in the top of the third inning. Hudson then brought Smith and Courtney Paolantonio on a double (2-2). The Bulldogs then claimed the lead on a Morgan State error (3-2).
  • The Bears would tie the game in the bottom of the third inning with a single up the middle (3-3).
  • Morgan State earned a two-run lead on a fielder's choice and groundout during the top of the fourth.
