Bryant loses to EIU on Sunday

MONTGOMERY, ALA. – The Bryant University softball team fell to Eastern Illinois 9-1 in the Bulldogs final game of the Black and Gold tournament.

How it Happened

• EIU scored the game's first run on a single in the top of the second (1-0).
• The Panthers scored two runs during the top of the fourth off of a double and sac-fly (3-0).
• In the top of the sixth, EIU hit a 2-run and solo HR back-to-back, extending the deficit to (6-0).
• Aleix Hudson hit a lead-off single and was brought home on a double to right-center from Alexis Larrow (6-1) in the bottom of the sixth.
• EIU tallied three more runs on a triple and double in the top of the seventh (9-1).

• Larrow had an RBI double.
• Hudson, Makenna Coleman, and Megan Marcel tallied a hit.
• Marcel stole a base.
• Kenney posted four Ks in the loss.
