Cochran hits a HR as the Bulldogs extend the win streak to 6 with victory against Fairfield
COLLEGE PARK, MD. – Hannah Cochran of the Bryant University softball team went 3-4 at the plate with three RBIs and a two-run home run in the Bulldogs 7-1 defeat of Fairfield in the final game of the Maryland Softball Tournament.
The Black and Gold went 4-0 this weekend and are currently on a six-game winning streak.

- The Bulldogs tallied five runs in the second inning to take a commanding lead.
How it Happened
- In the top of the second inning, Alexis Clancy hit a leadoff double, and Sam Rohwer hit a double in the following at-bat, placing Clancy on third. Then, with two outs, Gracie Bishop hit an RBI single for the game's first run (1-0).
- Makenna Coleman then hit a single in the same inning, leading to an RBI single from Hannah Cochran (3-0). Faith Valenzuela would hit a double down the left-field line during the following at-bat, bringing home two (5-0).
- Fairfield scored one run in the top of the fourth off of a solo home run (5-1).
- Cochran launched a two-run home run to left, leading to a 7-1 Bulldog victory.
