Kenney's dominance leads to series win at Maine
ORONO, ME. – Kylie Kenney of the Bryant University softball team pitched an eleven-strikeout complete game in the Bulldogs' 7-1 road victory against Maine.
Kenney dealt her fourth complete game of the season and eight career 10+ strikeout games.
The Black and Gold have now won three consecutive America East series.

- Kenney held the Black Bears scoreless until the sixth inning.
How it Happened
- Faith Valenzuela and Laniya Lewis hit consecutive singles to start the top of the third inning. Hannah Cochran brought home a run on a fielder's choice (1-0). The Bulldogs then added two more runs on an Aleix Hudson single up the middle, followed by an Alexis Clancy RBI single (4-0).
- In the top of the sixth inning, Valenzuela hit a leadoff single, and Laniya Lewis reached on an error, placing Valenzuela on third. The Black and Gold then scored on a Maine throwing error (5-0). Makenna Coleman hit an RBI double to left center, followed by an RBI single by Clancy (7-0).
- The Black Bears hit a triple, leading to an RBI groundout in the bottom of the sixth inning (7-1).
