Coleman named AE Rookie of the Week

BOSTON, MASS. - Makenna Coleman of the Bryant University softball team was named the America East Rookie of the Week by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

This is Coleman's second Rookie of the Week selection in as many weeks.

Coleman tallied six hits, a home run, 11 total bases, four runs, a batting average of .316, and a slugging percentage of .579 as the Bulldogs went 5-0 last week. She is also on a 13-game hitting streak, the third-longest in DI program history and the longest by a freshman.
