Cochran hits 3 HRs in the DH victories against Holy Cross on Tuesday
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – On Tuesday, Hannah Cochran hit three home runs against Holy Cross in the doubleheader victories at Conaty Park.
Cochran had two home runs in the 10-7 extra innings victory, including a walk-off three-run shot in the bottom of the ninth. Megan Marcel and Alexis Clancy hit two-run home runs, while Gracie Bishop went 4-4 with two RBIs.
Sam Rohwer launched a three-run home run, and Cochran tallied a two-run home run in the Black and Golds' 11-2 victory in game two.

- The Crusaders took a 2-0 lead on a solo HR in the top of the third inning (2-0).
- Aleix Hudson hit a leadoff double in the bottom of the third inning, leading to a two-run HR from Marcel (2-2). On the next at-bat, Cochran hit a solo HR to left, giving the Black and Gold the lead (3-2).
- Holy Cross regained the lead off a double and single in the top of the fourth inning (4-3).
- In the top of the fifth inning, HC scored two runs on a double and single (6-3).
- Holy Cross added one more run on a single up the middle (7-3) in the top of the sixth.
- Cochran was walked and advanced to second base on a sacrifice bunt. Bishop then hit a double to the gap, scoring a run (7-4) in the bottom of the sixth inning.

- In the bottom of the second, Makenna Coleman was walked and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt and a fly out. Clancy drew a walk and then stole second, setting up Marcel, who hit a single up the middle, scoring two (5-2). Bishop reached on an HC error, and McKenzie McAloon hit an RBI single to left field in the bottom of the second (6-2).
- With two outs, Coleman was safe on an error, and then Cochran hit a two-run home run for her third home run of the day (8-2) during the bottom of the third.
