Bryant falls to Binghamton in extras on Sunday
VESTAL, N.Y. – The Bryant University softball team fell to Binghamton on a walk-off double on Sunday.
Makenna Coleman tallied five RBIs, including a three-run home run in the loss.

- The Bearcats scored with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extra innings.
How it Happened
- In the top of the first, Aleix Hudson hit a single and was brought home on a Megan Marcel double (1-0). Alexis Larrow then hit a single, followed by an RBI single from Sam Rohwer for the Bulldog's second run of the inning (2-0).
- The Bearcats responded with a five-run bottom of the first off of a single and three-run home run (5-2).
- Hannah Cochran hit a lead-off single to begin the top of the second, and Olyiva Smith was HBP, putting two runners on base. Coleman then launched a three-run bomb to left field, tying the game (5-5).
- In the top of the third, Rohwer and Cochran drew walks, while Olyiva Smith knocked a single to lead the bases; Coleman then hit a single to the gap, scoring two and giving her five RBIs on the day (7-5).
- The Bearcats got within one in the bottom of the fourth on a two-out double (7-6).
- In the bottom of the seventh with two outs, Binghamton hit a single to the shortstop to tie the game at seven.
- The Bearcats hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth to complete the sweep.
