As a senior: Indoor Track & Field - Recorded a third-place finish in the 300m run at the Alden Invitational with a time of 36.75.

As a sophomore: Outdoor Track & Field - Posted the team's second-best performance in the 400-hurdles during the 2009 outdoor season with a time of 55.98 at the Bryant Invitational... Member of school's record-breaking 4x400-meter relay team that ran a 3:15.39 at the 2009 New England Championships to finish fourth overall. 

Before Bryant: A 2007 graduate of Northwestern Regional High School #7 in Winsted, Conn.... Lettered in soccer, indoor and outdoor track and field... School record holder in the 55-meter hurdles, 60-meter hurdles, 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, indoor and outdoor triple jump, indoor and outdoor long jump, indoor and outdoor 4x400-meter relay and outdoor 1600-meter sprint medley relay, all set in 2007... Three-time Berkshire League All-League selection... Three-time all-state selection... Placed 13th at 2007 Nike Nationals in the 400-meter hurdles... New England Champion in the 300-meter hurdles in 2007... Served as class treasurer... Honor roll student.

Personal: Born July 30, 1989... Son of James and Linda Fitzgerald... Says high school coach Andy Campbell has had the biggest influence on his athletic career.
