Two school records fall at ECAC/IC4A Championships

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University track and field program set two school records as it wrapped up the indoor season at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Saturday and Sunday in Boston.

Freshman Jacklyn Sullivan (Plymouth, Mass.) broke her own school record in the 800, finishing 20th with a time of 2:13.45.

The men's 4x800 relay team broke the school record for the second time in three weeks, finishing with a record time of 7:52.43. Christopher Wrenn (Norton, Mass.), Richard Landry (Holyoke, Mass.), Ryan Poholek (Attleboro, Mass.) and Brian Salit (Seekonk, Mass.) teamed up in the event.

Senior Jonee Harrison (Dorchester, Mass.) finished 16th in the weight throw, just missing out on a school record with a throw of 16.55m.

Junior Melissa Lodge (Hopkinton, Mass.) finished 26th in the mile, posting a time of 5:00.20.

Junior Milan Duka (Belgrade, Serbia) finished 12th in the 1000, posting a time of 2:27.80.

This weekend marked the most athletes the Bulldogs have ever sent to the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
