T&F hosts Black and Gold Invitational on Sunday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – For the second-straight year, the Bryant University track and field programs will compete at home as they host the Black and Gold Invitational on Sunday, April 2 at noon at the Track & Turf Complex.

The Bulldogs will welcome Rhode Island, Vermont, Colgate, Siena, Providence, Merrimack, Bentley and Assumption to Smithfield on Sunday.

Prior to the meet, Bryant will recognize its senior class. The ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m.

This will be the Bulldogs' second time outside this spring. They competed in the Charleston Southern Spring Break Invitational two weeks ago in Charleston, S.C.

Sunday's meet will begin at 12:00 p.m. and feature 18 events. The track events and the jumps will take place at the Track & Turf Complex, while the throws will take place out beyond Conaty Park.

The meet will also be streamed live on NECFrontRow.com.
