Track and Field Announces 2022 Outdoor Schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant track and field director and head coach Mitchell Switzer has announced the team's 2022 spring outdoor schedule. The Bulldogs will compete in seven meets during the regular season.

The calendar kicks off with the annual Black and Gold Invitational here in Smithfield from April 1-2. The following week, Bryant will head down the road to Providence for the Ocean State Invitational, hosted by Providence College and Brown. 

The Bulldogs will stay busy in April, as they head west for a trio of meets in California. The team will be split between the Mt. SAC Relays at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, CA (April 13-15), the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa (April 13-16), and the Beach Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State (April 15-16).

The team will return east for two more meets at the end of the month. They will head to UMass Lowell for the George Davis Invitational on the 23rd, and will visit Central Connecticut for a dual meet on the 30th. 

The postseason will commence with the NEC Championships on May 7-8, hosted by Mount St. Mary's. The NEICAAA Championships will be May 13-14 at a location to be determined, and the NCAA first round meet will be May 25-28 at the University of Indiana.
