ON TAP AT THE ALUMNI HALL

The Bryant University women's basketball team continues its 2013-14 regular season slate when it head to cross-state rival Providence College for a Tuesday nigth showdown at Mullaney Gymnasium inside Alumni Hall. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

Live streaming audio and video of the will be available via Friars All-Access at www.Friars.com. The pre-game broadcast will be available at 6:55 p.m. Audio of the game also may be heard, locally, on WOON 1240 AM.

SERIES HISTORY

Tuesday will mark the fourth all-time meeting between the two school, and the first since 1976 with Providence holding a 3-0 advantage over the Bulldogs. The Friars will also mark the only Big East opponents for Bryant this season.

SCOUTING THE FRIARS

Coming off a tough 8-23 season in head coach Susan Robinson Fruchtl's first season at the helm in 2012-13, the Friars could not have asked for a better start this year, coming off a dominating 109-74 victory over UMass Lowell Saturday afternoon.

Tabbed to finish eigth in the 2013-14 Big East Preseason Coach's Poll, Providence is led by All-Bg East preseason selection Tori Rule, who put up 23 points in the win on Saturday. One of four Friars to record double-figures against UMass Lowell, Rule was accompianed by junior Alexis Harris (31), freshman Sarah Beal (20), and sophomore Evi Ilskola (19), who combined for 93 of PC's 109 total points.
