ON TAP AT THE CHACE ATHLETIC CENTER

Monday night will mark the first of three-straight home games for the Bryant University women's basketball team as the Bulldogs head into the final month of the regular season in hopes of capturing the top spot in the Northeast Conference. Standing in Bryant's way tonight is Saint Francis U., for its second showdown with the Black and Gold. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY

Monday's showdown will be the ninth all-time meeting between the two schools with both Bryant and Saint Francis entering the game with four wins apiece. Currently riding a two-game win streak in the series, the Bulldogs picked up a huge win in Loretto, Pa., last month thanks for a career-high 36 points from Courtney Schissler and a last-second buzzer beater from Jenniqua Bailey.

SCOUTING THE RED FLASH

Led by All-Northeast Conference senior forward Alli Williams, Saint Francis U. enters Monday's contest with an 8-12 overall record, 6-3 in the NEC. Riding a four-game win streak that dates back to Jan. 20, the Red Flash most recently picked up a 92-78 victory at Wagner Saturday afternoon.

Williams paces her squad with an NEC-best 23.9 points per contest and 10.1 rebounds per game (second in NEC). The most high-powered offensive attack in the league, the Red Flash average 81.4 ppg as a team, nine points more than any other NEC school. They also rank tops in the league in rebounds per game (43.9), assists (15.26), steals (9.89), and 3-point FG made (8.32/game).
