The Bryant University women's basketball team will head to Fairleigh Dickinson for a 3:30 pm Saturday afternoon showdown with the Knights. Saturday will mark the final regular season showdown between the two schools.
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday marks the 10th meeting between the two schools with Bryant holding a slim 5-4 advantage dating back to the 2008-09 season over FDU.
Earlier this season, the Bulldogs picked up a convincing 77-63 win in Smithfield, thanks to a double-double effort from senior Naana Ankoma-Mensa.
SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
Fairleigh Dickinson enters Saturday's contest with a 2-21 overall record, 1-11 in the Northeast Conference. The Knights two victories have come against Columbia on Nov. 27 and Wagner on Feb. 8. Most recently, FDU fell to Mount St. Mary's, 88-70, Monday evening in Hackensack, N.J, despite 31 points from Kelsey Cruz.
Cruz, a sophomore guard, leads the Knights with 14.8 points per game to go along with 3.1 rebounds per contest. Classmate Brianna Thomas ranks second on the squad with 12.6 ppg, while Desiree Crawford and Amanda Andrades each put up more than 9 ppg.
