The Bryant University women's basketball team will welcome Sacred Heart to the Smithfield for two second of two regular season matchups between the two schools, Monday night at 7 p.m. Monday also marks the final regular season home game for the Bulldogs.

SERIES HISTORY

Monday marks the 11th Division I (19th all-time) meeting between the Bulldogs and Pioneers with Sacred Heart holding a perfect 10-0 series lead over the Bulldogs. In the Division II era, Bryant went 7-1 against the Pioneers, but is still in search of its first win vs. the familiar foe at the DI level.

These two teams met almost one month ago with the Pioneers squeaking out a 84-78 victory in Fairfield, Conn., despite a double-double effort from sophomore forward Breanna Rucker.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS

Sacred Heart enters Monday's game with an 11-15 overall record, most recently coming off a 63-53 loss at Central Connecticut State on Saturday. Currently tied with Bryant and St. Francis Brooklyn for fourth in the NEC standings at 8-7, the Pioneers have lost five of their last six games after starting out league play with a 7-2 record.

Led by perennial All-NEC guard Gabriell Washington's 17.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, Sacred Heart has the easiest road ahead of the three teams tied for fourth place with games vs. LIU Brookyln and at Fairleigh Dickinson remaining.
