The Bryant University women's basketball team will visit Central Connecticut State University, Monday night at 7 p.m. for both team's regular season finale. With a win, the Bulldogs will clinch a home game in Northeast Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Sunday.

SERIES HISTORY

Monday's showdown will be the 12th meeting between the two schools with Central Connecticut holding a 6-5 advantage in the all-time series. Earlier this year, the Bulldogs beat up CCSU, 81-50, behind a huge double-double performance from Naana Ankoma-Mensa. Prior to the last meeting, the Blue Devils won three-straight vs. Bryant including a pair of convincing wins a season ago.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS

Central Connecticut enters Monday's contest with an 11-16 overall record, 5-12 in the Northeast Conference. Sitting in ninth place in the NEC standings, the Blue Devils will miss the postseason for the first time since the 2007-08 season.

Senior guard Jessica Babe leads her team with 13 points, 4.1 assists, 6.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. Babe plays nearly 34 minutes per contest and is the only Blue Devil to start all 27 games this season. Classmate Lauren Arbogast ranks second in scoring at 9.1 ppg and junior Kaley Watras averages 8.7 ppg and shoots 36 percent from 3-point range.
