FULL GAME NOTES

ON TAP AT THE CHACE ATHLETIC CENTER
The Bryant University women's basketball team will look for its season-high sixth-straight victory when it opens the final weekend of the regular season on Saturday vs. St. Francis Brooklyn.

THE SERIES
Monday will mark 13th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Terriers with Bryant holding a commanding 11-1 lead in the all-time series. Dating back to the 2008-09 season, St. Francis Brooklyn has beaten the Black and Gold just once, with a 68-57 victory in Smithfield on Feb. 12, 2013. Since then, the Bulldogs have earned four-straight victories over the Terriers, including a 65-53 win in Brooklyn in January. Last season, Bryant took all three of the matchups between the two schools by an average margin of victory of less than four points.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
This year has been a roller coaster ride for St. Francis Brooklyn, as injuries have hindered the Terriers from reaching their full potential. After being selected to finish third in the Northeast Conference Preseason Poll, St. Francis struggled through non-conference play, finishing the first portion of its schedule with a 3-9 overall record. They opened NEC play 2-6 before winning five of their next seven. Most recently, the Terriers dropped a 60-57 contest vs. Fairleigh Dickinson, moving them to 7-9 and into fifth place in the NEC standings.

However, a true bright spot throughout the year, and a big reason St. Francis has clinched a postseason berth, has been the play of senior forward Jaymee Veney, who was named NEC Player of the Week on Tuesday. Veney leads the team with 14 points and eight rebounds in just over 30 minutes per game. Classmate Sarah Benedetti ranks second on the team with 13.5 ppg, with Eilidh Simpson (11.9 ppg) and Leah Fechko (10.2 ppg) rounding out the double-figure scorers. Senior point guard Katie Fox paces the team with 3.7 assists per game, with Fechko also ranking near the top of the glass with 7.9 rpg.

The Terriers, who have won three of the last four, has held opponents to just 60.7 ppg this season, tops in the NEC. They also rank in the top five in the league in FT Pct., FG Pct., FG Pct. allowed, 3-point FG Pct., rebounds allowed per game, and 3-point FG made.

NEC STANDINGS HEATING UP
With just two games remaining in the regular season, the top half of the Northeast Conference standings could not be any tighter. Bryant and Central Connecticut currently sit tied atop the NEC standings with a 13-3 league mark with Robert Morris in third just a game behind. Entering Saturday's games, only the top four teams in the standings have a winning record in NEC play. With five of eight NEC Tournament sports clinched (BRY, CCSU, RMU, SHU, SFB), the remaining five teams all have a shot at one of the final three spots.

BRYANT BREAKS DI SINGLE-SEASON WIN MARK
The Bulldogs earned their 20th regular season victory with their win at Wagner on Monday, breaking the Division I program record for wins in a season set just last year (17, 2013-14). This also marks the first 20-win season for the program since 2007-08. Bryant also set a new program record for NEC wins in a season (13). With two regular season games remaining, the Black and Gold also have an opportunity to set the program record for total wins in a season (22, 2003-04, 1987-88).

PLAYOFFS?!
With the win over Mount St. Mary's on Feb. 14, the Black and Gold clinched their third-straight postseason berth. Since becoming Division I postseason eligible in 2012-13, the Bulldogs have qualified for the Northeast Conference Tournament in each of the last three seasons, finishing 8th in 2012-13, and tied for 3rd in 2013-14. Bryant also clinched a first round home game for the second-straight season.

THE CENTURY CLUB
Senior point guard Jenniqua Bailey appeared in her 100th career game on Nov. 30 vs. PC, becoming just the eighth player in Division I program history to do so. Bailey, who has appeared in 121 career games as a Bulldog, tied the all-time program record for games played in a career (Dede Fogarty, 2001-05) on Monday and will break the mark vs. St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.

BRING ON MONDAYS
With their 64-47 win at Wagner on Monday, the Bulldogs improved to a perfect 8-0 on Mondays this season. The Bulldogs are now 14-1 this year during the work week (Mon.-Fri.) and just 6-6 on weekends.

NIFTY FIFTY
In Monday's win at Wagner, Bryant held the Seahawks to under 50 points for the second time this season (64-47), marking the only two times the Bulldogs have accomplished the feat this season.

HOME SWEET HOME
With their win over Robert Morris on Feb. 21, the Bulldogs improved to 11-1 overall at home this season. The Black and Gold are also a perfect 7-0 vs. Northeast Conference opponents this year at the Chace Athletic Center.

RUCKIN' N ROLLIN'
Junior forward Breanna Rucker logged her Division I program record 21st double-double of the season with her 15 points, 12 rebound performance at Wagner on Monday. Rucker has now compiled 31 career double dips and is averaging 16 points and nearly 12 rebounds per game.

Rucker's 21 double dips put her into elite company as a NEC player has reached 20 double-doubles in a single season only seven times since 2000, with Rucker's mark serving as the eighth occurrence. The NEC record for double-doubles in a single season is 27, set by Artemis Spanou (Robert Morris) in 2013-14.

WINDEX
Always among the top rebounding teams in the Northeast Conference, Bryant once against sits at the top in almost every rebounding category in the league rankings. Outrebounding opponents by an average margin of 7.0 rpg (first in NEC, 18th in the country), the Bulldogs have outrebounded the opposition in 21 of 27 contests this season.

STARTING FIVE
All five Bulldog starters (Jenniqua Bailey, Tiersa Winder, Ivory Bailey, Breanna Rucker, and Morgan Olander) are averaging at least 10 points per game enter Monday's game, making Bryant the lone team to accomplish that feat.
