Rucker named to All-ECAC Third Team

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Junior forward Breanna Rucker (Cincinnati, Ohio) of the Bryant University women's basketball team was named to the All-ECAC Third Team, announced the league office Thursday afternoon.

Rucker, who helped lead her team to their best Division I season in program history, became the first-ever Bulldog to earn Northeast Conference Player of the Year honors. Also an All-NEC First Teamer, Rucker averaged 16 points and a league-best 11 rebounds per game to help Bryant to its first NEC Regular Season Championship and the number two overall seed in the NEC Tournament.

The junior posted a DI program-record 22 double-doubles in 31 games in 2014-15, including six 20+ point, 10+ rebound games.
