Bulldogs host Seahawks Monday at 2 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball team continues its home stint, hosting Wagner on Monday at 2 p.m.

GAME NOTES

THE SERIES
This contest marks the 14th meeting between the Bulldogs and Seahawks with the series heavily in Bryant's favor, 12-1.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
The Seahawks enter Monday's contest on a 14-game losing streak, most recently falling to Robert Morris, 82-63. Wagner recorded its only victory this season over the College of Staten Island, winning, 62-60, in game two of the year. The Seahawks are 0-5 in conference play, placing them last in the league, as they average 47.9 points per game, allowing their opponents 70.8 on average. Wagner grabs 7.3 less rebounds than its opponents and coughs up the ball nearly 21 times per game through 16 contests.

The Seahawks are led offensively by Tanasia Russell, who averages 11.3 points 36.2 percent shooting from the field and a 68.0 percent mark from the line. Kerstie Phills averages 9.9 points in her 15 starts this season and leads the team with 13.8 points in conference play off 43.5 percent shooting from the floor and a 71.4 percent mark from the line.

COLD SECOND HALF
The Bulldogs didn't hit a field goal for five minutes in the fourth quarter against Sacred Heart, going just 6-for-27 in the second half. Despite shooting 40.6 percent in the first half, the Bulldogs finished 21.9 percent from the floor in the second, while the Pioneers connected on 54.2 percent of their second-half attempts.

DOING THE DISHES
Sophomore Kierra Palmer averages 4.6 helpers per game, placing her first in the conference. She has recorded three 7+ assist games, in which Bryant has 2-1 in.

OUTREBOUNDED BY OPPONENT
For the second time this season, the Bulldogs lost the battle on the boards, 39-36, despite 16 offensive rebounds. This season, Bryant is 0-2 when grabbing less boards than its opponents.

REBOUNDING MARGIN
The Bulldogs average the NEC's highest rebounding margin at +6.6 per game, placing them 40th nationally. In their best performance, Bryant out-rebounded Brown by 23, marking their highest rebounding differential since the 2014 season. The Bulldogs have lost two battles on the boards to Maine and Sacred Heart by single digits.
