THE MATCHUP
Bryant looks to bounce back after a 58-45 loss to Wagner earlier this week to snap a two-game winning streak. The Bulldogs meet with Saint Francis U for the second time this season on Saturday, Feb. 1 in Loretto. Earlier this season, the Bulldogs fell 63-60 to the Red Flash in Smithfield as the Black and Gold falls to 9-12 all-time against SFU. Bryant has only been successful twice all-time in Loretto.

SCOUTING THE RED FLASH
Since the two teams last met, the Red Flash has dropped three conference games against FDU, Merrimack, and most recently LIU for a 6-3 mark against the NEC. The 71-53 setback at LIU puts Saint Francis just behind Mount St. Mary's in the NEC standings in third place.

The Red Flash's leading scorer Karson Swogger dropped 25 against the Bulldogs earlier this season but has been held to single-digits in Saint Francis's last four games. In all three of SFU's conference losses, Swogger only netted a total of four points.

LAST TIME OUT: WAGNER
Bryant fell, 58-45, to Wagner on Monday night in Smithfield that snapped a two-game winning streak. Senior Sydney Holloway (Morgantown, W.Va.) was the lone Bulldog to tally double-figure scoring with her 41st career double-double netting 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs were held to a 24.5 field goal percentage off 12-of-49 shooting but did set a new season-high on the foul line shooting 20-of-36.

ON THE RISE
Holloway became Bryant's leading scorer in its Division I era surpassing Breanna Rucker '16. Rucker's previously held record was set at 1,395 points, but Holloway's seven-point performance against UMass Lowell put her over the edge at 1,401 career points on Dec. 2. Holloway is currently 15 rebounds away from 1,000 where she is en route to becoming the third player in Bryant's D1 history to achieve 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

COOKIES
Trinity Bravo (Bridgeport, Conn.)
is the team leader in steals with 32 on the year and 21 against conference foes. The sophomore has posted four games where she swiped 4+ steals in a single-game including a career-high of 5 against LIU. Most recently, Bravo tallied a four-steal performance against Wagner in Smithfield while Holloway contributed a career-high of five. Bravo ranks sixth in the NEC averaging 1.78 steals a night.

I WANT KANDY
Junior guard Kandis Taylor (Sunrise, Fla.) has seen the court more this season than in previous years averaging 17.5 minutes a game compared to the 10.2 that she averaged just one year ago. The 5-7 guard tied her career-high in scoring in the last three games for the Black and Gold. The career-best of nine points was set in the 57-53 victory to LIU in mid-January.  Taylor also dished out a career-best six assists at Mount St. Mary's.

ROAD DAWGS
Three of Bryant's five wins this season have come on the road including its first win of the season at Brown. The Bulldogs were unable to grab a home win until late December when they hosted Albany in a 68-55 decision. Two of Bryant's three conference victories also came on the road. The Black and Gold averages 63.0 points per game when tabbed as the away team as compared to the 52.6 points per game that they put up in the Chace.
