Bjelko named to All-NEC Second-Team

SOMERSET, N.J. - Brooke Bjelko of the Bryant University women's basketball team has been named to the All-NEC second team by the Northeast Conference on Monday morning.

Bjelko leads the NEC in total points with 377. She ranks fifth in ppg (13.0), third in RPG (7.0), third in block shots (31), and bpg with 1.3. Bjelko led the Bulldogs in scoring 15 times this season and was the leading rebounder in 13 games. She posted six double-doubles and 22 double-digit scoring games during the year.

Bjelko scored a career-high 32 points in the 69-57 home victory against Fairleigh Dickinson. This is the second consecutive season where Bjelko has been named to an All-NEC team, as she made the first team last season.
