Fortuny scores 20 for 3rd straight game in road win at Loyola (Md.)

BALTIMORE, MD. – Mariona Planes Fortuny tallied 20 points for the third straight game with a career-high seven assists and six boards in the Bryant University women's basketball team's 63-54 road victory against Loyola (Md.).

Mia Mancini posted 13 points and made three from deep. Megan Bodziony, Nia Scott, and Martina Boba posted ten points.

  • The Greyhounds took a quick 9-8 lead after the media before the Black and Gold responded with four points from Boba and Fortuny to earn a 12-9 lead at the end of one.
  • The Bulldogs started to get hot from deep, as Boba and Mancini hit one each, to go along with a Nia Scott layup on a dish from Fortuny, creating a 20-13 lead in the first two minutes.
