Nia Scott named AE Rookie of the Week

BOSTON, MASS. - Nia Scott of the Bryant University women's basketball team was named the America East Rookie of the Week by the organization on Tuesday morning.

Scott tallied a career-high 14 points and 12 rebounds for her second career double-double at Boston College last week.

Scott has registered at least 10 points in three straight games and leads the team, averaging 6.5 RPG. This is the first time Scott has been named Rookie of the Week.
