SCOUTING BEARCATS
The Bearcats head into Friday with a 13-16 overall record and an 8-8 conference record. Denai Bowman was named to the All-America East Second and Defensive Team, and Genevieve Coleman earned a spot on the Third Team.
WHAT TO KNOW
- The Black and Gold ended the season with a 15-14 overall record and an 8-8 conference record. Bryant earned the fourth seed and will host the Quarterfinals for the first time since 2016-17.
- Mia Mancini was named the America East Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the Rookie and Third teams. She becomes the first player since 2016 to win a major award.
- Mariona Planes Fortuny made the All-America East First Team. Fortuny tallied a career-high 16.5 ppg and shot 30% from deep, also a career-best.
- Nia Scott was named to the All-America East Rookie team. She had four double-doubles on the year and averaged 6.9 RPG in conference play.
