Kokoski adds Brigham and Rubino

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Head Coach Lynne-Ann Kokoski of the Bryant University women's basketball team announced the addition of transfers Ali Brigham and Mimi Rubino.

"We are very excited to add Ali and Mimi to our Bulldog Family", said coach Kokoski. "They both bring a tremendous amount of experience and competitiveness to help elevate us in our pursuit of winning the America East Championship".

Brigham comes to Smithfield after spending the last three seasons at Penn State. She appeared in 94 games for the Nittany Lions, making 59 starts. Brigham averaged 6.9 ppg, 4.9 reb/g, and shot 58% from the field. During the 2023-24 season, Brigham posted career-highs in ppg (8.7), points (303), assists (57) and minutes per game (22.4). 

Rubino spent the last four seasons at Fairfield. She appeared in 61 games and made 11 starts. Rubino averaged 7.1 ppg, 2.6 reb/g, shot 33% from the field, and averaged 25 mins per game in 2022-23. She tallied 214 total points and had 22 steals. All of these marks were career highs.
