Bulldogs finish fifth at Medaille Brunswick Invitational
BUFFALO -- The Bryant University women's bowling team finished fifth at the Medaille Brunswick Invitational over the weekend.
Bryant finished the two-day event with a 5-5 overall record. Four of Bryant's five victories came over East Coast Conference foes.
Saturday - Traditional
- The Black and Gold opened strong, earning victories over Daeman, Chestnut Hill College and Hilbert College.
- Olivia Hillman bowled a 193 to lead the Bulldogs to a victory over Daeman.
- Jenavieve Lyon and Laura Clark paced a victory over CHC. Lyon bowled a 238, while Clark posted a 201.
- Clark posted her second-straight game of 200+ with a 204 in a win over Hilbert.
- Stephanie Kotropoulos led Bryant with a 174 against Mercyhurst, while Lyon posted a 190 against D'Youville.
Sunday - Baker
- Bryant opened day two with victories over Daeman (916-792) and D'Youville (1055-1033).
- The Bulldogs also picked up a victory over Pitt-Bradford (856-667).
- Hillman led the Bulldogs with a baker average of 17.76.
- Unson posted a baker average 17.14.
Notes and Notables
- The Bulldogs finished the two-day event with a 5-5 overall record.
- Bryant defeated conference opponents D'Youville, Daeman and Chestnut Hill.
- Lyon finished eighth overall.
- Clark finished 15h overall.
