Hillman named ECC Bowler, Rookie of the Week

WEST BABYLON, N.Y. -- Bryant University women's bowling freshman Olivia Hillman was named the East Coast Conference Bowler and Rookie of the Week on Friday.

The Attleboro, Mass., native becomes the first Bulldog in program history to win ECC Bowerl of the Week honors and the first to win both bowler and rookie of the week honors in the same week.

Hillman helped her team secure their first win in program history this past weekend with a strong showing at the Lions Roar for National Cancer Society event. Olivia made the All-Tournament Team placing fifth on Saturday with a 17.56 average and a total pinfall of 878 pins. On Sunday, Hillman helped her team finish second overall with a Baker average of 19.18 and a single pin spare conversion percentage of 100 percent. Overall, Hillman led the ECC in overall frame average (18.36), Baker frame average (19.18), and strike percentage (35.0) last week.
