Bryant closes out final tune-up for ECCs

WILMINGTON, Del. -- The Bryant University women's bowling team put together a strong performance at the Northeast Roundup over the weekend.

The event was Bryant's final tune-up prior to the ECC Championships this upcoming weekend.

Saturday - Traditional

  • Bryant went 1-4 during the traditional format. The Bulldogs accumulated 4,232 pins, an average of 169.3.
  • The Bulldogs had tight losses to Chestnut Hill, Wilmington, Merrimack and Fairleigh Dickinson. Bryant defeated Molloy.
  • Laura Clark shined on day one, averaging 193.20 and just missing out on all-tournament honors. 
  • Olivia Hillman also finished inside the top 20 on Saturday, averaging 182.40.

Sunday - Baker

  • Bryant finished the weekend with a 2-3 record on Sunday.
  • The Bulldogs picked up wins over Holy Family and Bloomfield.  

Notes and Notables

  • Clark and Hillman each finished in the top 20 on the weekend. 
  • Bryant finished eighth overall.

Bryant will now prepare for its first-ever East Coast Conference Championships. The three-day championship begins Friday, March 24 at Coram County Lanes in Coram, N.Y.
