Bulldogs defeat two ranked opponents at Penguin Classic

STRUTHERS, OH. - The Bryant University women's bowling team made their season debut over the weekend at the Penguin Classic, highlighted by victories over No. 19 Central Missouri and No. 24 Morgan State. 

Olivia Hillman was the standout performer for the Bulldogs finishing 23rd overall in the individual standings.

Friday - Baker

• The Black and Gold went 1-4 on Friday.
• The Bulldogs defeated No. 19 Central Missouri (1006-878).
• Abby Unson and Hillman led the way with averages of 188.4 and 188.36.

Saturday - Traditional

• Bryant registered a record of 1-3, during Saturday's games.
• The Bulldogs picked up their second victory over a ranked opponent versus No. 24 Morgan State (877-758).

Sunday - Baker

• The Bulldogs finished the finl day with an 0-3 record.
• Stephanie Kotropoulos had the highest average with a 194.5

The Black and Gold will compete in the Bowl for the Cure next weekend.
