Thompson helps Bulldogs earn 4th place at Griffin Baker Classic

LIMERICK, PA. - The Bryant University women's bowling team competed in the Griffin Baker Classic over the weekend, qualifying third and finishing fourth overall.

The Bulldogs had the highest point total of the weekend, recording 1,024 points in the final match on Saturday against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Saturday - Baker

• The Black and Gold went 4-1 during Saturday's matches.
• Bryant defeated Caldwell (931-896), Wagner (980-846), Holy Family (930-680), and St. Thomas Aquinas by a score of 1,024-560.
• Brianna Mester posted an average of 20.73, being the anchor for the team.
• Olivia Hillman recorded a 19.45 average, and Maggie Thompson had a 19.45 average.

Sunday - Championship Round

• The Bulldogs fell in both matches on Sunday.
• Thompson continued her momentum with a 20.66 baker average.
• Jen Lyon had an average of 18.88, and Hillman posted an average score of 18.34.
