Walsh named ECC Coach of the Year and 3 named to All-Conference

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - On Friday morning, the ECC named Head Coach Morgan Walsh of the Bryant University women's bowling team the Coach of the Year.

Laura Clark was named to the All-Conference first team, Olivia Hillman earned second team, and Abby Unson was placed on the third team.

Walsh earns Coach of the Year honors as she guided the Bulldogs to 46 wins in just the program's second year. Walsh helped start the program in 2022 and has quickly brought the Black and Gold to the top of the ECC, competing for a league championship this winter. 

Clark is fifth in the conference in individual scoring averaging 18.756 per frame. Clark is also fourth in traditional format posting 18.938 per frame. She took home one Player of the Week honor this week.

Hillman is in the top 10 in the Traditional format average (18.734), Individual Strike percentage (42.4), and traditional strike percentage (41.3). Hillman was also named the player of the week earlier in the year.

Unson had an individual scoring average of 18.412 and was tenth in the ECC in individual strike percentage at 42.1%.
