Valera leads Bulldogs in spring opener

OKATIE, S.C. - The Bryant women's golf team opened their spring season with a 9th place finish at the 2024 Oldfield Intercollegiate Invitational. Sophomore Jenelle Valera led the Black and Gold for the tournament as she finished tied for 21st place and led the team shooting 240 (+24).

How it Happened:

• Erin Sullivan finished tied for 32nd amongst the individual shooting +29.

• Clara Hosman improved in her second and third rounds to finish +37.

• Caroline Petchark also finished +37 shooting a low round of 82 on day 1.

• Sydney Craven shot back-to-back 83's to close out the tournament and finish +38.

• Ellie Myers and Julia Bearden competed as individuals for Bryant, Myers Finished the tournament +59 while Bearden was +69.
