Bulldogs finish 16th in rain-shortened Georgia State Invitational

JOHNS CREEK, GA. - The Bulldogs completed the first two rounds of the Georgia State Invitational before round three would be canceled due to weather. The Black and Gold shot a 333 in the first round, followed by a 341 in the second.

Course: Rivermont Golf Club 

Par 72, 6,095 Yards

How it Happened:

  • Janelle Valera had the best individual performance for the Black and Gold shooting an 81 and 84 on day one of the tournament.

  • Erin Sullivan also shot an 81 in her opening round and finished +23.

  • Sydney Craven improved by three strokes on her second round to finish the invitational +25.

  • Caroline Petchark shot a combined 173 and finished play +28

  • Clara Hosman finished the tournament +41 down in Georgia.
